A Nevada attorney’s lawsuit against blogger Legal Eagle over posts to Wild Wild Law made in 2008 and 2009 was dismissed earlier this year on statute of limitations grounds.

So Adam Kutner tried again, and is now suing the blog’s alleged Web host, Google Inc., over disparaging 2013 online comments about him that were sparked by Legal Eagle posts, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reports.

“There are false, defamatory, vulgar, obscene postings on the Internet about Adam Kutner, and he wants them removed,” says his lawyer, Bradley Booke.

In addition to a court order requiring Google to take down the offending comments, the defamation and invasion of privacy suit seeks compensation for injury to Kutner’s professional reputation.

Filed last month in Clark County District Court, it also names unidentified John Does and Roe corporations as defendants.

Google did not immediately respond to the newspaper’s requests for comment on Tuesday.
