Terry Jackson, an Atlanta lawyer who in April brought a multimillion-dollar action against a group of alleged graffiti taggers, discovered that his own building was hit this weekend with bright green spray paint.

The side of his office building now reads: “Defacing (stuff) is fun,” the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

“This contact is not inconsistent with the defendants’ intentional vandalism of occupied-owner property,” Jackson told the paper. “If the defendants or any of their cohorts believe that this will deter us from proceeding with the lawsuit against them—and other defendants that will be named at a later date—they are mistaken.”

Jackson filed the Fulton County State Court lawsuit on behalf of local residents and a metal supply business. The defendants, who include two well-known street artists and a skateboard business, deny involvement with the graffiti, the Journal-Constitution reported in an earlier story. They filed a counterclaim, arguing that they’ve been damaged by being wrongfully accused.

Greg Mike and Douglas Alexander Brewer, two defendants who are commissioned artists, told the Journal-Constitution that they don’t like being lumped in a lawsuit that primarily is going after high school students.
