A judge suspended the 180-day jail sentence of California defense attorney David Taylor Kaye, instead ordering probation and ordering him to undergo sex offender counseling for secretly filming women at tanning salon last year.

Judge Eugenia Eyherabide also ordered Kaye, who pleaded guilty to two misdemeanor counts for peeking through a private area and secretly filming other people, including seven identified victims, one a 15-year-old girl, not to possess a cellphone camera or pornography and barred him from tanning salons, KGTV reported.

“What was especially troubling was the fact that the person who committed these crimes holds the position of trust in our community,” said Deputy District Attorney Annette Irving.
