The former city attorney in Brunswick, Georgia, plans to continue practicing law while also selling collectible books and antiques.

The lawyer, M. Lynn Frey III, will operate his shop, Barrister Books, along with his law office, Jacksonville.com reports. The law office is located in the back room of the business.

Frey says he will represent clients in areas such as civil litigation, elder law and probate. He told Jacksonville.com that stocking the store was easy.

“I had so many books at home, it was about to collapse the dining table, and I couldn’t get into my garage for all of the stuff,” Frey said. “I have a hoarder tendency.”

A reporter who toured the store noted leather-bound collector’s editions of several classic works, including To Kill a Mockingbird. The shop also has glassware, collectible prints and knickknacks.

Frey plans to replenish the merchandise with Internet purchases and personal shopping expeditions.
