A Texas law firm has sued the estate of the late Anna Nicole Smith to recover unpaid legal bills.

Houston-based Cunningham Darlow filed a creditor's claim Nov. 16 in Los Angeles Superior Court, arguing the firm hadn't been paid for representing Smith in her battle over the estate of her late husband E. Pierce Marshall, the World Entertainment News Network reports.

The article notes that this is the second such suit filed against Smith's estate. Attorney Sorrel Trope has also sued for unpaid legal bills for his work on the paternity suit involving Smith's daughter.

Smith died of an accidental drug overdose in February.
