June was another bad month for the legal industry, according to statistics from the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

The legal sector lost 2,600 jobs in June, the Am Law Daily reports. It was the fourth month this year in which law jobs declined.

The government issued revised statistics for law jobs in May that are more promising. In May, the legal sector gained 200 jobs, instead of the original estimate of 1,000 jobs lost.

Overall, the legal industry had 1,108,800 jobs in June, compared to 1,109,700 last year, a loss of 900 jobs for the year.
