Littler Mendelson Merges with Memphis Firm; Jackson Lewis Adds Milwaukee Lawyers
Updated: Two employment law firms continue to expand.
Littler Mendelson is merging with another labor and employment law firm, Kiesewetter Wise Kaplan Prather in Memphis.
The merger will give Littler 16 lawyers in Memphis, according to the Memphis Business Journal, the Memphis Commercial Appeal, the Am Law Daily and a press release.
Littler Mendelson opened a Nashville office last year, its first in the state. With the Memphis merger, Littler has a second office in Tennessee and 56 offices nationwide.
Meanwhile, another employment law firm is also expanding. Jackson Lewis has added six lawyers in Milwaukee with the acquisition of Simandl & Prentice, the Am Law Daily says. The firm already has a lawyer in Milwaukee who will be joining the others.
