Lobbyist and former Texas Congressman Tom Loeffler has left the law firm he founded.

But he has retained his national lobbying firm, the Loeffler Group, and will continue to be housed in the same office building with his now-former partners at Loeffler Tuggey Pauerstein Rosenthal, reports the San Antonio Express-News.

His former firm, which is now known as Tuggey Rosenthal Pauerstein Sandoloski Agather, has taken on two new partners. “This new identity marks a renewed commitment and focus on the business law practice in San Antonio and Austin,” says managing partner Tim Tuggey.

Loeffler, a Republican, served in Congress from 1979 to 1987. Further biographical details are provided in on a Web page for his lobbying firm.
