A Baltimore man convicted of negligent manslaughter in a car crash will have to serve 18 months in jail and carry his victim’s photo for six years.

Judge Ronald Silkworth said Johnathan Derek Simms, 33, will have to carry a wallet-sized photo of his victim throughout his sentence, the Capital Gazette reports. Simms will have to serve five years of probation and perform 500 hours of community service after his release from jail.

Simms sped away from police after he was pulled over for speeding in April 2016. He had no criminal record and he had nothing illegal in the car. His car crashed into another vehicle, killing 66-year-old Louisa Donner.

His initial defenses included a psychological evaluation that found he had paranoid personality disorder and a claim that his iron levels may have been abnormally low.
