Frankie Covington was given a life prison term for kidnapping his former lawyer in Bourbon County, Ky., reports WLEX-TV.

A Lex 18 article gives further details about the crime. The victim, who Covington was accused, but not convicted, of sexually abusing, is not identified in the article.

Previously sentenced to a five-year term in a case in which the victim represented him, Covington had just gotten out of prison after the earlier crime when the lawyer was attacked in April 2006, according to a Kentucky State Police press release.
