A man shot himself in the head Monday after he walked into a Tucson, Ariz., law firm and asked to speak to a lawyer about a will.

The 52-year-old man, who has not yet been identified by authorities, is hospitalized in critical condition, according to stories in the Associated Press and the Arizona Daily Star.

The man walked into the law firm of Leon Thikoll on Monday afternoon and asked to speak to a specific lawyer to review a will, but was told that lawyer was not in the office, the stories say. When an employee went to get a different lawyer, the man shot himself.

He was apparently not an existing client of the firm, police said.
