After more than 36 hours of deliberation, a Massachusetts jury on Friday convicted a 34-year-old man with six horns on his head in a grisly triple murder.

Defense attorney James Reardon Jr. argued that no evidence proved Cauis Veiovis was there when two other previously convicted defendants abducted and killed the three victims. After the verdict, Reardon said he was disappointed and noted there would be an automatic appeal, according to the Berkshire Eagle and the Republican and WSHM.

However, Veiovis presumably did not help his case by shouting at the jurors, after the verdict was read, “I’ll see you all in hell, remember that, every f—ing one of you! I’ll see you all in hell!”

He is expected to be sentenced to life without parole on Monday.

Prosecutors accused Veiovis of participating in a slaying that was motivated by the desire of Adam Lee Hall to eliminate a witness in an earlier criminal prosecution against him. Two other men present when the initial witness, David Glasser, was taken from his Pittsfield home were also abducted and slain, the government alleged, so they would not be available witnesses to the crime against Glasser.

Hall was convicted in February, as the Republican reported at the time,

The crime occurred in Berkshire County, but the cases were tried in Hampden Superior Court because of extensive pretrial publicity.
