A commercial urging the U.S. Supreme Court to broadcast oral arguments is set to run this week on various cable networks.

According to the Hill.com, the 30-second advertisements are sponsored by Fix the Court. A non-partisan group, according to its website, it advocates for “accountability and transparency” in the U.S. Supreme Court.

The group bought advertising time on various cable news programs and Comedy Central. The commercial starts with news clips of historic moments captured on film, including famous speeches by Martin Luther King Jr. and President Ronald Reagan.

“America’s biggest moments wouldn’t be the same without TV, but the biggest decisions still happen in the dark, behind closed doors,” an announcer states. “It’s time for us to see the history made here, in the light of day.”
