A lawyer in Quincy, Massachusetts, has been charged with murder in the September slaying of a man who told neighbors he was a diamond and gold runner.

Lawyer Michael Moscaritolo, 32, was arrested on Friday in the slaying of Robert McKenna of Marshfield, the Boston Globe, the Boston Herald and the Patriot Ledger report. Moscaritolo was charged with murder, unarmed burglary, larceny of firearms, illegal possession of firearms and receiving stolen property.

Another man, James Ferguson of Dorchester, was charged last month with murder and burglary in McKenna’s death. Police said at the time that they were looking for two additional suspects.

Moscaritolo’s girlfriend, Lauren Kalil, 32, was also arrested Friday and charged with being an accessory after the fact for allegedly hiding evidence.

McKenna was found dead on his kitchen floor by a friend Sept. 16. His body had a gash on the arm and injury to the head. A person who had worked at McKenna’s home said he had seen gemstones owned by McKenna, who had claimed to be a gold and diamond runner in Africa.

Police said clothing found at the crime scene contained clues that led to the arrests Friday, according to the Patriot Ledger account.

Police said they recovered five guns stolen from McKenna’s home, but they did not say where they found the guns. Police also said they found a marijuana-growing operation in McKenna’s basement.
