Jurors deliberated only 45 minutes before finding a Florida inmate guilty of indecent exposure for masturbating alone in his jail cell.

A Broward County sheriff’s deputy claimed inmate Terry Lee Alexander, 20, did not try to hide what he was doing, the Miami Herald reports. Deputy Coryus Veal testified she could see what was taking place from a master control room.

Alexander was sentenced to an extra 60 days in jail. He is currently serving a 10-year-sentence for armed robbery.

Defense attorney Kathleen McHugh argued Alexander’s actions were natural and caused no problems at the prison, the Herald reports.

“Did other inmates start masturbating because of Mr. Alexander?” McHugh asked Veal. “Did you call a SWAT team?”

”I wish I had,” Veal replied.

McHugh questioned jurors in the case about their own masturbation habits. The seven jurors selected had all done the deed, ABAJournal.com noted yesterday.
