Cravath, Swaine & Moore made news this week when it announced special bonuses for associates that range from $10,000 to $50,000.
Now several other law firms have also announced special bonuses of up to $50,000, Above the Law reports. They include Debevoise & Plimpton; Simpson Thacher & Bartlett; and Paul Weiss.
Those special bonuses are in addition to the traditional year-end bonuses, which will be $60,000 at Cravath and $65,000 at the three other firms. Total bonuses take for senior-most associates – those in the Class of 2000 and prior years – at three of the firms will be a whopping $115,000.
