NJ Lawyer Is Sentenced to 12 Years in Prison for Seeking Sex with 7-Year-Old Girl
A New Jersey lawyer has been sentenced to 12 years in prison after pleading guilty to seeking sex with a 7-year-old girl.
Tobin Nilsen, a 58-year-old solo from Buena, N.J., tried to arrange the encounter through a woman he believed was her mother, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports. He connected with the woman—an undercover FBI agent—through a chat room called “ChildSlaveSex,” federal prosecutors say.
Nilsen was arrested after buying a plane ticket to Atlanta. He pleaded guilty in September.
