For the second time in less than three years, a growing Mississippi-based law firm with national and international offices has expanded its footprint in Nashville, Tennessee.

After bringing in 37 lawyers from the Nashville office of Miller & Martin in 2012, Butler Snow is adding 13 more attorneys by acquiring litigation boutique Walker Tipps & Malone, the firm announced Monday. There are now 62 lawyers in the Nashville office.

“These attorneys bring exceptional commercial litigation experience to the firm,” said Butler Snow’s chairman, Donald Clark Jr., of the Walker Tipps lawyers.

At last report, Butler Snow had about 250 lawyers in 17 offices in the South; Denver, Colorado; New York; Pennsylvania; Washington, D.C.; and London.
