Updated: Asked about an apparent photo of his naked chest on a court bailiff’s cellphone, a Detroit judge not only admitted that the photo was of himself but said he saw nothing wrong with what he’d done, reports Fox News.

“Hot dog, yep that’s me,” responded Judge Wade McCree of Michigan’s Third Circuit in Wayne County. “I’ve got no shame in my game. I ain’t talked to nobody else’s wife … there’s nothing nude about it. I’m in no more clothes than I’ll be at the Y this afternoon when I swim my mile.”

However, the bailiff’s husband wasn’t happy when he found the cellphone photo and reportedly complained about it to Michigan’s Judicial Tenure Commission. The commission declined to comment when contacted by Fox News, due to court confidentiality rules.

A video clip linked to a myFoxdetroit.com article provides additional details in an interview with the judge about the photo.

McCree said he’d sent the photo to other women, but did not confirm in the interview that he had sent the photo to his bailiff’s cellphone. The myFoxdetroit.com coverage says the husband complained that his wife told him the judge sent the photo to the bailiff’s cellphone.

Although it isn’t certain that a complaint has even been filed about McCree, the judge later retained a lawyer and is now referring all requests for comment to him, a Detroit Free Press article subsequently reported.

“I’m sure he’s sorry, and he’d acknowledge it was a bad decision or an error in judgment,” Brian Einhorn told the newspaper. However, “I hope there is nothing for me to do,” he added, noting that there has, as yet, been no official response to the photo.
