A crime report detailing accusations against the general counsel of the Oklahoma Bar Association alleges he groped a woman in a Remington Park suite and bit her breast, the Oklahoman reports.

The Oklahoma City lawyer, Dan Murdock, was arrested shortly before midnight on Saturday while hosting a wedding shower in a suite at the horse racetrack and casino.

The woman told police she was drinking wine and speaking with Murdock during the shower and took him up on his offer of a tour of his other suite. She claims that once in the suite he asked, “Are you a tease like all the other women?” and blocked her path when she said she needed to leave, the story says.

The woman alleged Murdock pulled down her top and bit her on the breast and neck, according to the article. KSBI-TV quotes a police officer who says the woman has “some physical markings that were indicative of the assault itself and also consistent with the story she gave officers.”

Murdock’s lawyer denies the allegations. As Murdock was arrested, police reported, he shook his head and said, “I can’t believe this.” He later asked police to call his wife, the story says.

Murdock and his staff are responsible for investigating misconduct allegations against lawyers. He brought the case against Oklahoma City attorney Michael Gassaway, who was disbarred two weeks ago for sexual misconduct. The Oklahoma Supreme Court found there was sufficient evidence that Gassaway had traded legal fees for sexual favors and forged another lawyer’s signature on a letter, the Oklahoman reported in an earlier story.
