Oliver Stone tapped New York’s former attorney general and governor for help with his new movie featuring Gordon Gekko called Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps.

Stone told Reuters that he got some “very good insights from people like” Eliot Spitzer, who resigned as governor in 2008 in the midst of a prostitution scandal.

Spitzer “was one of the earliest investigators of these cases,” Stone told Reuters. “You remember, he was the guy who originally got the biggest settlement out of [insurer] AIG back in 2006.”

In the movie, Michael Douglas reprises his role as Gekko. This time, Gekko has been released from prison and he now has a new Wall Street protégé.
