A paralegal in New York says Victoria Secret infringed on her 2004 patented bra design when the company created its “Very Sexy” convertible model.

Katerina Plew, 38, says she spent about $12,000 to patent her design and develop a prototype, but began contacting companies seeking a manufacturing partner when she realized how expensive it would be to take her convertible strapless bra all the way to production, reports Reuters. She allegedly had an appointment with a Victoria’s Secret executive which was abruptly canceled after Plew provided the company with a copy of the patent and photographs of a model wearing her prototype bra.

“A year later, I walked into a Victoria’s Secret, and there was my bra up on the wall,” she says.
