Paris Hilton Coke Charge Could Be Tough to Prove, Expert Says
Arrested in Las Vegas on a cocaine possession charge, actress Paris Hilton could well escape conviction, an expert tells the L.A. Now blog of the Los Angeles Times.
“First they are going to have prove it’s her purse and then she had custody of it,” defense attorney Dmitry Gorin, who is a former L.A. County prosecutor.
“When it comes to celebrities, often assistants and entourage handle things like that, so it becomes harder to show they are the ones with the item.”
