“That’s hot,” is Paris Hilton’s trademark phrase, both figuratively and literally.

Those are the allegations in a lawsuit Hilton has filed over a Hallmark moment that was not a happy one for the heiress.

Hilton has sued the card company for superimposing a photo of her face on a cartoon waitress using her well-known phrase, “That’s hot,” according to E Online.

Hilton owns the trademark for “That’s Hot,” according to the suit, (PDF posted by E) filed in federal court in California on Sept. 6.

She claims Hallmark Cards violated the trademark and damaged her rights of privacy and publicity. She seeks actual damages of at least $100,000, treble damages for the trademark violation, as well as punitives.
