Hilton was sentenced for violating probation by driving on a suspended license. She had been expected to spend 23 days in jail after time off for good behavior. She had previously pleaded no contest to a charge of drunk driving.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Dept. spokesperson Steve Whitmore would not provide further details about Hilton’s medical condition at a hastily called news conference, according to TMZ.com, which carries frequent Hilton gossip.
