After advance word that a number of partners planned to exit Patton Boggs in order to establish a Holland & Knight office in Dallas, their new firm has made an official announcement.

In a Monday press release, Holland & Knight says a total of 23 lawyers—including 12 partners, 10 associates and a senior counsel—will be staffing the new office. All are joining from Patton Boggs, the Blog of Legal Times reports.

James Chadwick, who co-chaired the business department at Patton Boggs, will serve as executive partner of the new office. The group also includes Michelle Suárez, who previously served as managing partner of the Dallas office of Patton Boggs.
