A woman killed Friday outside the Atlanta office of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker was a secretary at the law firm.

The victim, 25-year-old Raven Buckley, had worked for the firm for about a year, managing partner Philip Marzetti told the Fulton County Daily Report. The man who shot her before turning the gun on himself, 30-year-old Jermaine Acevedo, was an employee of a local temporary agency who was working in the law firm’s records department since January, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.

At one point Buckley and Acevedo were dating, but police weren’t sure if the relationship was ongoing at the time of the murder-suicide. Acevedo shot Buckley three times and then shot himself after a discussion outside at a picnic table escalated into an argument, police told the Journal-Constitution.

The law firm plans to hire grief counselors to help the staff cope with the killings. “The last three hours have been some of the worst of my life,” Marzetti told the Daily Report on Friday.
