Delaware police say they found $838,000 and two guns in a disbarred lawyer’s storage locker and $12,000 in his Chevy Tahoe on Saturday.

The former lawyer, 66-year-old John Kennedy, was arrested at a Motel 6 after Wilmington police learned he was wanted in Texas on a charge of practicing law without a license, according to the Houston Chronicle and the News Journal.

It’s not the first cash stash linked to Kennedy. In 2004, Kennedy was arrested on a different charge of practicing law without a license, and he asked his son to look for $54,000 cash stuffed in a bowling ball bag so he could post bail, according to the Houston Chronicle. The son, a law student at Texas Southern University, instead found a suitcase stuffed with possibly $1 million in $10 and $20 bills, the story says. The son said he kept some of the money, gave some to his mother, and returned the rest.

The discovery led to a 2005 lawsuit in which John Kennedy accused his son of taking some of the money, and a federal seizure of about $800,000 from the home.
