Police found an escaped drug offender lunching with his Oklahoma lawyer a day after he escaped from jail.

The lawyer, Amy Lynn McTeer of Nichols Hills, had hoped to marry the convict, Roy Kuykendall, police told the Oklahoman. She had “Roy” tattooed on her fingers and allegedly posted a Facebook photo of them walking away from the corrections facility the day before. Police found them eating lunch together at a restaurant on July 10.

McTeer told Oklahoma City police she thought Kuykendall had been released from jail. However authorities are investigating whether McTeer aided the escape, the story says. Police searched her office on Friday and seized her iPhone, allegedly used to post the Facebook photo.

She has not been charged. Nichols Hills Police Chief Richard Mask told the newspaper his department was informed she was planning to get treatment of some kind.
