Prosecutors have dropped a marijuana charge against a former Florida judge arrested for smoking pot in a park.
Judge Lawrence Korda of Broward County accepted a plea deal last spring in which prosecutors agreed to dismiss the charge if he passed drug tests for six months. He resigned in July.
Miami-Dade Assistant State Attorney Joseph Centorino told the Associated Press that Korda has now passed all the drug tests and the misdemeanor charge will be dismissed.
Korda gained attention when he declined jurisdiction in the paternity dispute over Anna Nicole Smith's daughter.
