Miramax Film Corp. and supermodel Heidi Klum did not violate the copyright of fashion designer Cynthia Rodriguez and buyer and merchandiser Elizabeth Zwiebach with their reality TV show “Project Runway,” a Manhattan federal judge has found.

The pair claimed they developed a treatment for a reality show entitled “American Runway” that was stolen by “Project Runway,” the New York Law Journal reports.

But Southern District of New York Judge Loretta A. Preska found that while “Project Runway” was “focused on the search for the next great high-class fashion designer,” the treatment by Rodriguez and Zwiebach was focused on “creation of a marketable clothing line.”
