Two sheriff’s deputies rushed to the aid of a California lawyer who suffered cardiac arrest Thursday while questioning a witness.

The deputies performed CPR on the lawyer, Michael Dib of Torrance, until paramedics arrived and took Dib to the hospital, the Los Angeles Times blog L.A. Now reports.

Paramedics told police that the Los Angeles County deputies, Noel Furniss and Juan Rivera, may have saved Dibs’ life.
