A woman who testified against a man on trial for her rape admits she lost her patience during questioning by the defense lawyer.

The woman said she suffered an anxiety attack while being questioned by defense lawyer Gabi Silver in the Detroit courtroom. “I just blurted out ‘get to the point’ and I used a cuss word,” the woman admitted in an interview with MyFoxDetroit.

Judge Vanesa Jones Bradley sentenced the woman to three days in jail for contempt of court, but she was released after just one night.

The woman said she was wrong to get angry, but she should not have been treated like a criminal. “The defense attorney just treated me so awful and so bad,” she said. “She just like kept yelling at me over and over, and the judge didn’t ask her to lower her tone.”
