Reed Smith Chicago Office Adds Lawyers

Reed Smith Sachnoff Weaver has snagged five new partners for its Chicago office, including two from rival Mayer Brown.

Legal Week reports that lawyers joining Reed Smith are:

–Mayer Brown partners John Vishneski and Russell Eggert. The firm lost two other partners to Allen & Overy this summer.

–Katten Muchin Rosenman employment partner James Burns.

–Ungaretti & Harris tax partner William Nichols.

–Latham & Watkins associate Christopher Bennett.

Reed Smith established a Chicago presence by merging with Sachnoff & Weaver last October.
