Reed Smith has opened Houston office, expects 50 lawyers there
Another major law firm is opening an office in Houston.
Reed Smith now has a physical presence in the Texas city and is looking to hire attorneys to practice in its new office there, the firm’s chief marketing officer told the Pittsburgh Business Times on Tuesday.
“We have opened, and we’re building out an office there,” CMO David Egan said. “We are lining up the people. Those discussions are all at various stage. We’ll have more specifics soon.”
A posting on the firm’s website says Reed Smith expects its Houston office “will eventually be 50 lawyers and 20 staff members.”
A Houston Business Journal article offers additional details and notes that the 1,700-attorney Pittsburgh-based international law firm is already advertising its new offices in local publications this week.
