The retirement of a New Jersey county prosecutor is being roiled by accusations of sexual harassment.

An unidentified employee of the Mercer County prosecutor’s office has formally notified the county, through her lawyer, Robin Lord, that she intends to file suit and asked that evidence including claimed “breast of the day” emails by former prosecutor Joseph Bocchini be preserved, according to the Trenton Times and the Trentonian.

Copies of emails attached by Lord to her notice of the claim show that Bocchini sent crude jokes and a sexually explicit cartoon to staff members, the Trentonian reports. Some came from the Not Safe for Work website.

Bocchini, who served for 11 years before retiring in February, has declined to comment.
