Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg cracked two ribs in a fall on June 4, but she still went to work the next day and spoke at a legal conference four days later.

Ginsburg, 79, told Reuters about the rib injury in an interview. She reports she is doing “great” after treatment for pancreatic cancer, and she works out with a personal trainer.

Ginsburg indicated that she still intends to remain on the bench at least three more years. At that time, her length of service will match that of Justice Louis Brandeis, who retired after serving almost 23 years.

Ginsburg said she could remain on the court even longer than that. “Brandeis had a problem that I didn’t,” she told Reuters. “He was losing his eyesight.”
