The San Francisco city attorney has won a preliminary injunction requiring an immigration lawyer and his law firm to stop working with a former attorney who is no longer licensed.
Attorney Christopher Stender and his Immigration Practice Group must also notify current and former clients of ex-lawyer Martin Guajardo that he is now unlicensed, under a San Francisco Superior Court ruling on Friday, reports the Bay City News.
The law firm didn't respond to a request for comment from the publication.
