A Cleveland woman who reportedly had more than once used the same stretch of sidewalk to pass a stopped school bus has taken a plea after being brought to justice with the help of a cellphone video taken by the bus driver and a Sept. 11 police sting.

Originally charged with reckless operation and failing to stop for a school bus, Shena Hardin, 32, took a plea in Cleveland Municipal Court on Monday and was sentenced to lose her license for 30 days and pay a $250 fine. She must also twice return to the scene of the crime and, for one hour each time, publicly wear a sign proclaiming “Only an idiot would drive on the sidewalk to avoid the school bus,” WJW reports.

The stretch of sidewalk that Hardin drove on was right in front of a day care center, the article notes.
