Litigant's Situation Goes from Bad to Worse as E-Mail to Judge Results in New Conviction
Apparently angry over what he perceived as a federal judge’s delay in ruling on his civil suit over an alleged unlawful arrest and incarceration, a Virginia man sent the South Carolina jurist a number of e-mails expressing his negative view of the situation.
Now Stephen Rosenberg is awaiting sentencing in a new criminal case, having been convicted by a federal district court jury in South Carolina on Thursday of making threats to kill white judges in the state and attempting to corruptly influence the federal court to rule in his favor in the civil case, reports WCSC.

The Gazette article doesn’t include any comment from Rosenberg or his counsel.
When he is sentenced in June, he could get as much as 15 years in prison and a $500,000 fine.
