'SNL' Touts a Law Firm Specializing in 'Spider-Man' Injuries, Including Plot Confusion
Sure, lots of cast members have been injured during the Broadway musical Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark, but what about the audience members?
Saturday Night Live has a law firm for you. Gublin & Green specializes in claims for cast as well as audience members, according to the New York Times ArtsBeat blog and the Huffington Post. The ad touts the law firm’s great results—including free tickets to future performances and a Spider-Man hat.
“We’ve settled all kinds of complaints,” according to the pitchman in the SNL ad. “Didn’t like the songs. Confused by the plot. Insulted legacy of Spider-Man. Fell asleep so suddenly I hit head on seat in front of me. Sucky titles. Green Goblin’s pants fell down, saw package.”
