Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal is gaining an 18-member energy practice group as well as the group’s entire book of clients.

The team is moving to Sonnenschein from Sullivan & Worcester, Legal Times reports. Among those who are making the leap are Clinton Vince, managing partner of Sullivan & Worcester’s Washington, D.C., office, and prominent energy lawyer James Costan, according to a press release.

Vince at one time had tried to recruit lawyer Elliot Portnoy to join Sullivan & Worcester, without success, the Legal Times story says. Now Portnoy is chairman of Sonnenschein and the tables have turned: It was Portnoy who recruited Vince to join Sonnenschein.
