Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor hopes to show young people that happy endings are possible even for struggling families.

Sotomayor plans to accomplish that through three new book projects for young people, the Associated Press reports.

In one of the projects, Sotomayor is adapting her memoir, My Beloved World, for children between the ages of 8 and 12.

In another project, Sotomayor is collaborating with an illustrator for an autobiography on important books to her, to be called Turning Pages. She is working with another illustrator for a picture book on childhood differences.

The books will be published by Penguin Random House in 2018 and 2019.
