Sotomayor Joins Bleacher Creatures for Yankees Roll Call, But Says Scalia Is Team's Biggest Fan
Justice Sonia Sotomayor joined the Bleacher Creatures in the stands during the first inning of the New York Yankees game against the Baltimore Orioles on Wednesday.
But the Big Apple native said she cannot take credit as the team’s biggest fan on the U.S. Supreme Court, reports the New York Daily News.
“Justice (Antonin) Scalia is fond of reminding me that he was the first Yankees fan on the court and he is still a very loyal Yankees fan,” she said. “I keep telling him the only difference is that I was born in the Bronx and he wasn’t.”
