Two star litigators are exiting Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison to form a new trial firm.

Along with Beth Wilkinson and Alexandra Walsh, partner Sean Eskovitz of Munger,Tolles & Olson will be the third name on the marquee at Wilkinson Walsh + Eskovitz, reports the Am Law Daily (sub. req.). It will have offices in Washington, D.C., and Los Angeles.

Other founding partners include Brian Stekloff of Covington & Burling; Brant Bishop of Kirkland & Ellis; and former Kirkland partner Eric Liebeler, who most recently headed the litigation department at Siemens Corp. He will be managing partner of the new firm

A former U.S. Army lawyer and federal prosecutor, Wilkinson was a partner at Latham & Watkins and served as general counsel of Fannie Mae before she joined Paul Weiss in 2009.

She and Walsh “are sensational lawyers, and we’re confident that their new venture will be a great success,” Paul Weiss chairman Brad Karp told Am Law Daily. “We look forward to continuing to work with Beth and Alex in the years to come.”

The new firm is scheduled to try cases later this year for Pfizer and other companies.
