Does Faye Dunaway live in a New York apartment building with a green linoleum hallway, chipped walls and pink marble stairs?

The landlord who rents to Dunaway claims in a lawsuit that the actress doesn’t actually live in the building and is not eligible for stabilized rent of $1,049 a month, the New York Times reports. The suit also names Dunaway’s son and identifies him as a subtenant. Going rates in the same neighborhood in the Upper East Side are about $2,300 a month.

The suit says Dunaway, 70, actually lives in California. Her home there is “nice but not flashy,” the Times says, and she has a 2007 Toyota Corolla that is registered in the state.
