Associates at Susman Godfrey will get bonuses of $45,000 to $100,000 this year, far above the going rate established by Cravath Swaine & Moore.

Some law firms are reluctant to release bonus information, but not Susman Godfrey. It announced the bonus in a press release that quotes managing partner Steve Susman. “We had another fantastic year, from coast to coast,” he said. “We have a great group of young lawyers, and are delighted to be able to pay even bigger bonuses this year.”

Cravath Swaine & Moore is paying bonuses of $7,500 to $35,000, and several law firms have followed the same bonus structure. Cahill Gordon & Reindel is reportedly paying up to $75,000 in combined bonuses over a half-year period, but a media spokesperson did not respond to a request for confirmation.
