A lawyer suspended in California for failing to pay his bar membership dues has been arrested in a recent bank robbery.

Stuart Silman, 59, of Corte Madera, is accused of making off with at least $22,000 in cash from a Bank of America in Marin County, according to the Contra Costa Times and the Associated Press. He was identified based on witness reports of bank employees and surveillance video, the story says.

Silman was admitted to practice in 1983, and he was suspended 21 years later.
