Kelley Drye & Warren has merged with Jackson Gilmour & Dobbs, a 14-lawyer Texas law firm known for its environmental litigation.

Kelley Drye announced its merger with Jackson Gilmour & Dobbs in this press release. The Am Law Daily (sub. req.) and Bloomberg Big Law Business covered the development.

Jackson Gilmour represented the state of New Jersey in environmental cleanup litigation involving the polluted Passaic River, helping recover more than $355 million in cleanup costs and damages.

The merger gives Kelley Drye offices in Texas and expands the number of its offices from seven to nine.

The 14 lawyers will remain in their Houston and Austin offices, which will be known as Kelley Drye/Jackson Gilmour & Dobbs through 2017.
