We consider every diorama-maker in our 4th Annual Peeps in Law Contest to be a winner, but only three could take home prizes. Voting was fierce, and “Protesters Peeper-Sprayed at UC Davis” was neck-and-neck with the “Trial of the Donner Party” for several days before the Donner Party pulled ahead in the poll through pure, sugary ruthlessness. (The protester peeps should be examined for tiny teethmarks.) Congratulations to everyone involved!

FIRST PLACE

The Trial of the Donner Party

The Trial of the Donner Party “I’m glad the ABA Journal is raising public consciousness of the steady disappearance of millions of peeps every year. There’s no way to sugarcoat the facts. I will be pleased to accept the marshmallowabilia and to send you a photo of it when it arrives,” Barbara Rush wrote in her acceptance email. She’ll receive a $100 gift basket for the grand prize.

SECOND PLACE

Protestors Peeper-Sprayed at UC Davis

Protestors Peeper-Sprayed at UC Davis Stephanie H. and Russell P. will be receiving a $50 gift package for their valiant second-place showing. “It was a great break from the stress of law school,” Stephanie wrote.

THIRD PLACE

It’s Not A Woman’s Issue; It’s a Peep-le’s Issue

It's Not A Woman's Issue; It's a Peep-le's Issue Tasha M. LaSpina writes: “Thanks to the ABA Journal for providing a marshmallow-y platform for me to raise awareness of an important and timely legal issue!” Keep those tiny aspirins between those bunnies’ ears, Tasha, and enjoy the $25 Peeps prize.
